My target audience...
My primary TA is male aged 20 to 30; my secondary TA would be a younger audience, such as males aged 15 to 20.
My genre is aimed to everyone, doesn't matter the social class or status. But rock audience tend to work or study.
Depending on their own tastes inside the rock culture, they may tend to have certain styles such as wearing certain clothes or hairstyles.
As my research shows, people from my audience are likely to be into the music world, and they may enjoy singing or playing instruments.
The first thing I though about was the stereotypical image of a rock music fan or a rock music artist; which may include features such as long hair, tattoos, facial piercings, leather clothes or beard. Such as Axl Rose for example (image).
Then I started my research using sites such as YouTube, Google (rock clothing shops, music shops, demographic sites, or rock magazines sites), social networks such as Facebook and rock music magazines such as Classic Rock or Rolling Stones.

How did you find this info out? Where did you look?
ReplyDeleteThere is a lack of secondary data here. I think more research may be needed. Take a look at Ebony's as a good example.
