Last Friday we showed the class our first minute of edited video to receive some feedback and tips over it.
In general, the feedback I received was quite positive and it helped me getting new perspectives and ideas for my music video.
I have been told that my music video was looking very good; people said that the filters and the shots were quite effective within the theme of the song and that those made the video flow very well; also, they said that the slow motion at some points of the video was good as it goes well with the pace of the song. On the other hand I have been told that some of the shoots look to shaky and that sometime that should be fixed to make them look smoother as it is makes more sense within the song.
Poeple made also some suggestions on what way I should end the video as having a twist at some point to add some tension and to keep the audience interested.
One of the suggestions they gave me was to transform the video into a memory, where at the end i appear at a graveyard playing the guitar for my dead friend (the one of the video). I think this is a good idea as it is easy to accomplish and would have a great effect on the video and the audience specially.
The feedback i received was quite satisfying and it helped me a lot to improve my music video.
